Description

The new JPX925 Hot Metal Iron family redefines the performance of an industry-leading franchise, combining powerful new technologies with Mizuno's world-renowned feel.

For the first time, Mizuno introduces a multi-material construction to the Hot Metal lineup, adding tungsten weighting to the already highly potent Nickel Chromoly construction. Strategically positioning weight lower in the head increases stability while producing a higher launch and steeper, green-holding landing angles. Consequently, JPX925 is remarkably precise, a rare and unique trait for such powerful, distance-focused irons.

The latest Hot Metal offerings also benefit tremendously from a new, completely re-engineered Contour Ellipse Face. Now up to an astonishing 30% thinner than the previous generation, this multi-thickness face profile enhances ball speed on center strikes and maximizes speed retention across the entire hitting surface, ensuring consistently longer shots and more predictable results.

Manufacturers are continuously strengthening the lofts of their irons in the race for distance supremacy. However, lower lofts will cause many players to produce a low, suboptimal launch with insufficient spin to keep the ball airborne, leading to decreased carry yardages and the inability to stop the ball on the green. Mizuno designed HL to combat this industry trend, weakening lofts, lowering the center of gravity, and widening the head to maximize launch conditions.

Featuring the same speed-inducing technology as its siblings in a longer, larger, and wider package, the super game-improvement HL is the most forgiving JPX925 Hot Metal offering.

Mizuno JPX925 Hot Metal HL Irons - Feature:

• Super game-improvement iron designed for maximum speed, height, and forgiveness
• CORTECH Design and new Contour Ellipse multi-thickness face profile that pushes to the extremes for increased center ball speed and maximum forgiveness across the face
• Multi-material construction with tungsten positioned low in the 4-7 irons creates a higher launch with a lower sweet spot, producing added carry distance and a steeper, green-holding descent angle
• High strength-to-weight Chromoly 4140M allows for a strong and fast face
• Seamless one-piece Cup Face geometry with thinned areas revolving 360° around the perimeter increases the rebound area for superior ball speed across the entire face
• Balanced Stability Frame with balanced weighting improves forgiveness, stability, and consistency
• Variable sole thickness increases overall face flex for added CORAREA
• Harmonic Impact Technology fine-tunes head geometry to deliver ideal feel and feedback at impact
• Acoustic Sound Ribs precisely dial in vibration patterns for a solid, explosive impact sound
• White Satin Brush Finish is modern, elegant, durable, and glare-free
• Stock Steel Shaft: True Temper Dynamic Gold 95
• Stock Graphite Shaft: UST Mamiya Recoil Dart ESX
